Davidson County Homeschooler Bailey
Renee Hill finishes up High School year on the Dean's List at DCCC, the
first student to complete the Career and College Promise program while
participating in the Scholars of Global Distinction program.
Bailey is one of 16 students to be accepted into
exclusive ‘Media Fellows Program’ at HPU this Fall.
Bailey’s Story…
Bailey Renee Hill, daughter
of Verne (WBFJ Morning Show) and Paula Hill (full-time wife and mom) of Midway,
has been homeschooled from kindergarten through 12th grade.
She is a 2014 graduating senior from Hill
Academy
Bailey will participate in
two graduations:
May 24 - NCHE (North
Carolinians for Home Education) statewide graduation at the Benton Convention Center
in Winston-Salem
May 17 -
Homeschooling has allowed
Bailey the flexibility to pursue her passion for the performing arts. She has been involved with Lexington Youth
Theater, plays guitar and sings in worship band at Faith Church
Bailey has been attending
Davidson County Community College
She will complete a pathway
in Humanities and Social Science this May. She will be the first student to
complete this pathway. Bailey is on the Dean’s List at DCCC and in the
Scholars of Global Distinction program. While at DCCC Bailey took a
communications class under Sylvia Walters which confirmed her decision to
